Free Smoke Detector

The Broomall Fire Company with the support of State Senator Ted Erickson, has secured a federal grant to ensure that elderly residents of Delaware County have a working smoke detector in their homes.   We have a limited number of  First Alert, 10-year sealed lithium battery smoke detectors for distribution.  One detector per household is available to residents of  Delaware County, 65 years of age and above.  It is required that you provide proof of age and residency. You can pick up detectors at the following locations during normal business hours.
