The Broomall Fire Company was established on January 8th, 1923 by a group of twenty six men wishing to establish fire protection for the growing Marple Township community. The fire house is located on the corner of North Malin Road and West Chester Pike and is staffed by eighty five volunteer firefighters and support personnel, covering an area of approximately 11 square miles, a large stretch of Interstate 476 serving well over 24,000 citizens of Marple Township.
