Are your loved ones and home protected? The Broomall Fire Company, with the support of State Senator Ted Erickson, has secured a federal grant to ensure that elderly residents of Delaware County have a working smoke detector in their homes. We have a limited number of First Alert, 10-year sealed lithium battery smoke detectors for distribution. One detector per household is available to residents 65 years of age and older. It is required that you provide proof of age and residency. You can pick up your detector at the following locations during normal business hours.
